How to install the Virtuallio Time Tracker in Mac OS

Your download will begin shortly. While waiting, please read the instructions on how to install the app properly.

 

Step 1: Click the download button for the MacOS installer of the Virtuallio Time Tracker.

Step 2: Select ‘Keep’ to proceed with the download. 

Oh, and don’t worry — we’ve built a 100% clean software. 😉

Step 3: Once the download is finished, open the .dmg file to start installing the app.

Step 4: Drag the Virtuallio Time Tracker app to the Applications folder.

Step 5: Open the launchpad and select the Virtuallio Time Tracker.

Note: Since our app is new, you might receive security notifications during the installation process. Simply click ‘Ok’ or ‘Open System Preferences’ to proceed. 

Step 6: Click ‘Ok’ and open System Preferences.

IMPORTANT: If you skip this step, the Virtuallio Time Tracker won’t be able to track your time.

  • Step 6.1: Select Security & Privacy.

  • Step 6.2: Click the lock icon found at the bottom-left corner and log in your admin credentials.

  • Step 6.3: Select ‘Anywhere’, and then ‘Allow from Anywhere’ in the prompt.

  • Step 6.4: Click the lock icon again to save the changes.

Step 7: Open the Virtuallio Time Tracker and click ‘Open System Preferences from the pop up box.

At this point, you’ll need to grant the app access to your computer so that it can track your time.

Step 8: Click the lock icon at the bottom-left of the box and log in using your credentials.

  • Step 8.1: Tick the checkbox beside the HireBros Time Tracker to enable it, then click the lock icon to save your changes.

Step 9: You can now log in and start using the Virtuallio Time Tracker!
